Position: ACG Nurse

The ACG Health and Wellness Center at The American College of Greece is seeking a dedicated and qualified nurse to join its team in a full-time capacity, alternating between the East Campus in Spata and the Aghia Paraskevi Campus.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide medical consultation and care for the ACG community, including the assessment of illnesses and injuries, basic first aid, referrals for further care, and counseling on healthy lifestyles.
• Deliver appropriate emergency response and crisis intervention.
• Perform administrative tasks and process medical forms in both English and Greek.
• Effectively communicate with an ethnically diverse population of all ages, both individually and in classroom settings.

Required Qualifications:

• A four-year University Degree in nursing or health visiting from a Greek/European University or, if from a third country, recognition from DIKATSA.
• A valid nurse permit or health visitor permit from the Prefecture of Athens, and registration with the Nurse Association of Greece or Health Visitor Association.
• A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience.
• Current CPR training certification.
• Ability to work independently without the need for personal and direct supervision.
• Proven capability to work with a diverse population of various ages and cultures.
• Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills in both English and Greek.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and internet research.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a related field.
• Experience in Community Nursing, Occupational Health, Public Health, and/or First Aid/Emergency Care is highly desirable.

Other requirements:

• Flexibility to alternate weekly between shifts as needed: 07:30-15:30, 8:00-16:00, 9:00-17:00, and 11:00-19:00.
• Eligibility to work in the European Union/Greece.
